Honestamente, esse filme me pegou de surpresa e me baqueou de várias formas. Como alguém que sofre exageradamente com drama animal, me peguei soluçando várias vezes contemplando a jornada desse gatinho em um mundo perigoso enquanto descobre a importância de comunidade e união em tempos difíceis. A animação é incrivelmente bonita e ao mesmo tempo simples, trazendo à tona animais muito verossímeis com movimentos, expressões e sons muito bem reproduzidos. Além disso, tem vários ambientes renderizados em 3D de tirar o fôlego, com vários elementos fantásticos que ajudam a história e os pontos emocionais. Uma das grandes surpresas de 2024, recomendo muito.

M3GAN 2022
It's been a while since I've laughed this hard in the theaters. This is the perfect example of how you make a PG-13 horror flick. M3GAN is a new icon in horror and her clash with Chucky on the big screen is now inevitable. The writing is on point, the VFX applied to Donald's face to make her look like this pouting doll is astonishing and it'd be dishonest not to mention Jenna Davis' great voice acting.

Resident Evil 2002
Resident Evil still holds up as a great standalone zombie film, but to be a great start of a movie franchise... it's not quite there yet. If only the movie was more appealing to the game's fanbase. But even then, that would require them to completely ignore its source material in order to embrace our protagonist, which is played stylishly by Milla Jovovich. The action is pretty decent, except for some weird cutting during fight scenes. The CGI is okay when applied to zombies' injuries and deformities, but when it's used to make monstruous creatures... we'd be better off without them.
Brazilian-portuguese dub is PERFECT.
