Nosferatu 2024
Eggers does it again, he never fails to completely capture the essence of a time period perfectly. From the costume designs to the location I truly felt immersed in 1800’s Germany/Romania. One of the most gorgeously shot films in recent time, almost every scene was a beautiful creatively crafted moment from the shadow shots to the wide angles of the horse carriage. I could rave about performances for days but everyone absolutely killed it just to save some time.

Phantom Thread 2017
Reynolds and Alma depict a crazy, and (literal) toxic, infatuated love story. This is one of my favorite and most personal films that I can re-watch again and again. The way both of them fall in and out of love shows the struggle relationships have to overcome, and in the end they loved and needed each other more than ever.
