  Serious question: How do people like this movie?
  Yes there are some beautiful shots and I think it is cool that Lynch is able to evoke emotions in the viewer despite having zero connection to the characters.

  That being said this film has no intended plot/meaning and everyone I see online has a different nonsensical reading of what this movie meant. it felt like a waste of two hours after I finished watching it. Still cool for the reasons I mentioned earlier, just not what I was expecting/ not what I enjoy watching
