This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This was a really interesting movie. So bizarre that his subconscious figured out he had been drugged in the jungle by his own side and then appeared to him in his hallucinations as a separate individual to explain the whole situation. The whole movie depicts a dream-like state better than I’ve seen done before.

The Last Duel 2021
The set pieces, sound design and performances were all top notch. It’s appalling what used to pass for common sense. A court scene reminded me of the villagers in Monty Python trying to decide if a woman was a witch. It was almost spot on. Since the story was told from three different vantage points, one at a time, there was some tedious retread that happened occasionally which felt like it slowed the movie down a bit. Otherwise would have been 4 and a half stars easy.
