  watched this while waxing my legs <3
  there is just something so utterly romantic about this movie. julian’s devotion to anneliese and knowing she always sprays rose and not lavender on her letters, dominick grabbing the one blue rose in a bush of pink roses to give to erica (who is dressed as anneliese). it’s just so… blushy and cute and lovely.
  the plot is well executed and really keeps you interested! amazing pacing especially.

  as a kid, this was never my absolute favourite barbie movie but definitely in my top 5.
  visually, this movie is STUNNING! the ice skating scenes, the landscapes, the painting of the clouds! absolutely beautiful.
  the music is also very well done and fitting to the overall atmosphere of the plot, as is usual for barbie movies.

  while this is not a movie i’d usually watch, i’m very glad i did.
  firstly, all actors did an amazing job portraying their characters. it was insane to see how into their roles they got and i almost forgot they were acting! shout out to willem dafoe especially.
