  Super super unexpectedly emotionally heavy. Mel Gibson did a really good job at showing an ancient civilization in a very relatable and human way, and added a lot of emotional connection to a civilization from so long ago. There were a few historical inaccuracies but I think they were mostly for the sake of the plot and adding drama/emotion.

  Reflective film that showcases a family dynamic that is hard to talk about or portray in a film. The story is realistic and doesn’t have much drama, which makes it easier to relate to and make note of family dynamics.

  Amazing film, not many people know it. I watched it in my small local theatre and it’s become probably one of my favorite films. There are so many twists and it is somewhat short which makes it easy to watch. Highly recommend.
