Clouds of Sils Maria 2014
Not sure I trust this movie. Does it know how bad the play within the play sounds? Does it know how ridiculous Valentine seems when she wants to quit over her disagreements with Maria about how to interpret it? Does it know how cringe the alp montages, set to Pachelbel's canon in D, are? It definitely knows how bad Chloë Grace Moretz is in that sci fi movie; but does it know how bad she is in the movie itself, the one we're watching?
