  We never see the most 'significant' moments of Almut's and Tobias' life.
  We don't see Tobias' divorce, we see him signing the papers to confirm it.We don't see Almut's diagnosis, we see her prognosis after it. We don't see Almut's death, we see Tobias and Ella continuing to live after she's gone.

  It gets to the film's core idea: that every moment feels like it's the most important one, when you're living it.
  Time isn't something that you can spend or invest or whatever other currency metaphor you want to use.
  It's a constant, you just live through it.

  One of the ugliest movies I've ever seen.
  Visually. comedically. thematically. Ugly. Every scene of this movie feels like vague bullet points of a real scene:
  -deadpool shows up
  -ironic, self-aware humour
  -comedic cgi fight scene with ironic pop music

  There is no attempt at any level of thematic depth here. At least the prior installments had the decency to give us that. Scenes just happen, strung together like SNL sketches with a celebrity guest host.
