Gone Girl 2014
Watching this with 20 friends who had never seen this was so much fun. Everyone locked in so hard when the storytelling switched POVs.
This is a great movie, and if you can get over Sorkin’s style (it insists upon itself), which doesn’t work as well in this movie as it does in Steve Jobs or Social Network, then you have a winner. Acting? Phenomenal, Pike and Affleck both shine. Their best performances. The score is excellent. It’s David Fincher. Perhaps not…
