Kinda ruining my self proclaimed easy critic thing here as I really wanted to like this film but wasn’t wowed 😭 from the few things I’ve seen her in I’m a fan of Rachel Sinnott so was excited about this film but it felt a bit flat. I may love this film more because it was my first ever red carpet interview (and went shockingly well🥰) but this is just a fantastic film all around. Was able to watch before the UK premiere last week and was so impressed! The writing, the visuals, the acting, really enjoyed this film. The pacing and the way it’s filmed is cleverly reflective of the game (tennis) and the characters back and forth between their younger and older selves was done really seamlessly imo. 5/5 (and watch my interview - shameless plug lmao) 🎾
