Bumped to 5 stars, not because it’s flawless but because I think this is the first movie I’ve seen with a gay love story that isn’t built on tension but tenderness (maybe CMBYN ? I don’t remember it that way though)
Found it really refreshing to see a love story that happens to be gay vs. a gay love story.
Andrew Scott said in one talkback that tenderness is radical, and between two men especially. I have a lot of time for those kinds of stories.
