A movie about a 40 year old mum dating a 24 year old pop star is kinda weird, but it was a cute story, Anne Hathaway looks amazing in it, and there were some nice relationship moments in it.

I liked the musical aspect about it, but I think the casting was a bit average, the wardrobe was poorly chosen and badly tailored, and they kinda dropped the ball with the ending. It was always going to be hard to live up to the original, but it definitely could have been done better.
