There’s unsettling irony at the heart of this movie.
Will says to Lou, “You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.”
But he doesn’t.
And that contrast, between what he says and what he ultimately chooses is what makes the movie so heartbreakingly sad.

I think this movie is such a beautiful exploration of time and connection. At first, you don’t feel deeply connected to the characters because all you really know about them is surface-level things, like their jobs. But that feels intentional. It reflects how we often see ourselves and others through what we do or accomplish instead of who we really are.

I waited a long time to watch this movie because I didn’t want to be disappointed but…..I really liked it. The feminist themes were definitely not subtle, but I think they were spot on. I loved the lighthearted-ness of their existential introspection and acknowledgment that life wouldn’t be all that interesting if it were perfect. Oh and the pink
