dare i say that this, a whimsical horror musical romcom starring melissa barrera, was made for me… truly SOOOO good, so funny and cute, unbeatable soundtrack, and wonderful utilization of melissa’s endless talent. a perfect movie and an absolute favorite!!!

the “when she loved me” scene has ruined me every single time i’ve watched this. random story time i was at a sam smith concert in 2018 and that song started playing before the show and i was ???? like we cannot be attacking people like this when they’re trying to enjoy their night.

timeless movie and so many scenes are seared into my brain permanently. oh nostalgia. <3

looks around… uhhh where are all my fellow opus enjoyers…

whether or not my enjoyment is mainly because of ayo edebiri (it is), i’m not at liberty to say (it is). she’s just awesome i don’t know what else to say! ayo edebiri scream queen campaign!

by no means a perfect movie and could’ve been better but i personally liked it! full of utah scenery, great outfits, scary puppets, and great performances tbh

life imitates art, y’know, whatever they say. i enjoyed this! toni collette is always going to deliver what needs to be delivered, robert pattinson’s commitment to any voice bit is honestly impressive, and naomi ackie i was unfamiliar with you and your game but i’m here now, ready to stan. as expected, we have themes that are very very relevant. the world is so bleak. enjoyed watching this unfold all the way to the very end. p.s. thought a lot about those veneers. trying to get an answer on whether they were just for the character or if they’re for real.

one of the most annoying things a movie can do (to me) is have a 90s setting and give absolutely zero 90s vibes (in my humble opinion). that aside since this only applies to like half of the movie and also isn’t the point, this was pretty good as an over the top horror comedy! got a lot of laughs from the audience. at times some of the dialogue/effects were sliiiightly too over the top even for me but hey…
