Beautifully filmed and it was very A24 style (my SHIT) I love the juxtaposition between the two protagonists and how BOTH of their approaches to religion are extremely accurate. The Florida Project 2017
Probably my favorite movie of all time in terms of nuance and the sheer saturation of the film. Showcases the very real and impoverished lives of children in the shadow of fantasy (being based in Florida near Disney World). Offers a new perspective to corporations like Disney that offer escape, but only for the privileged. Also sheds light on the innocence and naivety of children and how those traits keep their outlook positive. Outstanding movie. Could write an entire paper about it.
