rewatched this in god knows how long and all of the verbiage I used in middle school came from this movie. such a quotable film & all that lesbian energy radiating is 10/10

The Substance 2024
I really loved this movie despite my uneasy stomach throughout it all. it did an outrageously amazing job at portraying how ridiculous the beauty standard is for women but the lengths we go mentally to uphold the standard. demi moore played this role so beautifully. I wish I could rewatch this but my stomach is queasy just thinking about going through that again.
i just loved how hyperbolic and believable it all was. maybe I do like body horror films
