Being able to make art as a primary profession in the capitalist world we now live in is certainly a privilege. Unlike Thierry Guetta, better known as Mr. Brainwash, most artists spend years and years perfecting their craft and defining their style, as Banksy noted near the end of the documentary. In the instance of MBW, his entire experience as a graffiti artist felt like he became an artist overnight, as he said it himself.
