  i whole heartedly believe Ghibli films have magic.
  The details, the storytelling, the music, the art.

  you know when you watch something and you can tell it was made with so much talent and love, so tranquil and beautiful. The story itself was unique and I liked the themes (humans vs nature).
   
  It was a bit long if I’m being honest but it’s not necessarily a fault. In conclusion, i should watch more Ghibli movies.

  Yes ! 
  I’m really glad I rewatched this movie; I don’t think I was old enough to appreciate it the first time i watched it. 
  I noticed that this time around I found the mom’s story to be the most touching, Jason himself was also an interesting character to follow for sure; but the mom was the one I felt most something (sympathetic, also afraid?) with. 

  The movie was definitely a bit long but I wouldn’t change anything

  Side note: Ghaida please get a life
