The story, themes, and characters are great but the horror aspect of this movie is just really bad. A lot of cheap loud noise jumpscares and the scare sections overall could be toned down to a more psychological horror, which I think would make the whole movie scarier and more harrowing.
If not for those sections, it would be a 6-7/10 but as it stands it stays on a 5.
