Christmas in Connecticut 1945
i was so excited based on the premise but all the ideas were half-baked in their execution. i love barbara stanwyck and the old french chef but why were there multiple babies that weren’t hers just lying around the house with no care from the mother and why did they steal a carriage and then giggle about being arrested and why is her boss so insistent he see her make the damn food 😭 these could’ve been silly as hell but they were played at face value? i am disappointed bc the plot points were so good it needs a modern day remake i believe
