A film as good as it is interesting. I was expecting a film celebrating the Apollo missions and especially Neil Armstrong. In the end, it's a rather sad and sombre film, reflecting the psychological state in which the American astronauts, and Armstrong in particular, found themselves during the Apollo programme. I loved the performances of Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy. He's in his bubble, cold, sad, bruised by the loss of his daughter and his friends and fellow astronauts. (So…
