throughout the film i could really see perkins, and obviously kings work. however i dont understand why james wan was in production. i saw no influence of his throughout the film.
the film as a whole felt like 2 separate parts, the first being psychological and made you feel on edge like perkins work in long legs. the second was more camp and confusing. as a whole it was okay however, definitely confusing.
(the main character being called hal, made me jump everytime😔)
