I would have enjoyed this much more if it were a prequel. Otherwise, the plot is eerily the same as the first.

Home Sweet Home Alone 2021
Very bad movie. It was not even laughably bad; I found myself with the urge to look away at times. The original movies I could laugh at because Macaulay Culkin was so likable and charismatic, and the burglars were cartoonishly evil and irredeemable. Here, however… I don’t get enjoyment from watching a struggling mother get set on fire by a spoiled brat who hates his family for no reason.
