this movie was so fun are you kidding?? absolutely hilarious and had me on the edge of my seat during that last action sequence!! ryan gosling is a national treasure, he genuinely made this movie. his acting across the board is top tier. i love the fact that this movie genuinely surprised me, i was not expecting a lot out of this but holy crap i had a blast. it was fantastic, give me fourteen of em right now.

basic plot line of troublemaker guy falls for shy innocent girl cause she's "different," and i predicted she had cancer TOO quick. i also do not love mandy moore's acting, idk the way she talks lowkey irks me 😬 however there was something about it i liked, though it was cheesy it was still rather sweet. most definitely saw the similar writing patterns with the notebook, but hot take, i think i like this one better. at least jamie doesn't cheat on her fiancé 🤷♀️

how to even begin to describe the power of this story is sort of a daunting feat. watching it for the second time gave me the opportunity to REALLY watch it. and it is wonderful.
i had very little complaints. i thought the audio choice of making the orchestra almost drowning out the long notes at the end of some songs was a weird choice. i wanted to hear those notes from elphaba and glinda at the end of wizard…
