From the opening credits we are made aware that Mandy is not your average 80s nostalgia piece. This is Sabbath on LSD. This is hell rolled into a crushed-head-sandwich. This is Nic Cage drinking vodka in his undies and slaughtering nutters. This is some fucked-up shit but I love it.

From the opening scene you know that this is a Bond movie to be reckoned with. This is epic popcorn Bond, a huge work that puts the breaks on Craig's incredible turn as 007 in the utmost style and guns inevitabley blazing. If not for its weak central villain (Malek's mumbling, maskless bore) and lack of screentime for its female contingent, this could have been a way more iconic outing.
