A legitimate masterpiece. Exact proof of the magical, transformative power of film because in simply 2 hours and 20 minutes, I am a different person. Every frame is a poem. Absolutely visionary work from RaMell Ross. I’ve never seen anything like it in storytelling or even perspective. The attention to detail in the cinematography was immediately recognizable as a companion to All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt, all the praise to Jomo Fray. I am just stunned in every sense of the word, an unforgettable experience I’ll be holding close for a while ❤️ Brilliant brilliant brilliant.
