Rudeness is merely the expression of fear. People fear they won’t get what they want.

Wes Anderson might become one of my favorites with his creative style of direction. It's one of the most visually pleasing films I've ever seen.
The use of music, colors, and clothing is absolutely perfect.

The acting was phenomenal, I'm actually stunned by Ralph Fiennes' performance.

Fame is fleeting, but delusion is forever.

Norma Desmond, a washed-up and a delusional Hollywood star, lures a young screenwriter
Joe Gillis into her luxurious mansion with the promise of money, wealth, and misplaced affection all in exchange for editing an awful and self-indulgent script.

The performance of Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond is nothing short of sensational.
She doesn't play Norma Desmond, she becomes her.

Huge appreciation for Billy Wilder, truly a man who changed cinema.

This is actually one of the best, if not the best, romantic films. The emotional roller coasters throughout the film are frustrating.

The chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling is incredible. The constant switch between love and fighting is phenomenal.

I think it’s one of the most rewatchable films for me, though I wasn’t a big fan of the ending or some of the scenes where they were old, which explains the half-star drop.

    Im literally Ryan Gosling.

Better on rewatch!!!! Thank you Quentin.
The chemistry between Samuel and John is unmatched. This film has one of the greatest dialogues and writing.
