‘Daughters’ was a punch in the heart. Such a raw and honest portrayal of father daughter relationships. Despite my differing circumstances, I relate to the anger, the sadness, the longing and the hope. The hope for him to reach out and the overpowering disappointment that comes with that. For some fathers, it took the time in prison to have the space. The space to feel a longing and realise what they had been neglecting. I long for an opportunity for him to gain some perspective. - H
