Hana Al-Aride

Hana Al-Aride

If I like it, I will watch it a hundred times until I can't watch it anymore.
I will prefer the villain

    Creepy as shit!
The acting was incredible and the story was brilliant, better than I thought

    Really enjoyable actually.

Don't get me wrong, there were some odd things about it. One buy thin that confused me was when it stopped being a musical haha, the singing just stopped all of a sudden haha. And some of the voice acting was not that great but mostly from side characters so I wasn't bothered

But other than that, I like the idea of Mufasas backstory.

    This was crazy!
The whole movie I wanted him to leave that island but once you know, you know...
The whole movie makes you question what reality really is, whether what you're seeing is real or not.
Leonardo DiCaprio is just an acting gem, no one else could have done this better.

    SPOILER!
The ending killed me though, he didn't regress, he finally broke through and accepted reality but couldn't live with it so he pretened to regress so he wouldn't have to suffer.
That was so heartbreaking, but lobotomy is not the way to go

    "I DEFY YOU, STARS!"

I adore this film to bits.
I love the idea of using the actually Shakespearian script while modernising the world of Romeo and Juliet.
I had heavy Moulin Rouge vibes from this so I was drawn in from the beginning. Don't get me started on Leonardo DiCaprio's performance, for being only 21, he did an amazing job.

Being slightly biased, this is my favourite Shakespeare story.
