pretty bad. the only characters/actors who made it okay were rose (kelly reilly) and margaret (robin wright)–tom hanks sounded old the entire time because they didn't change his voice, and his character wasn't very complex. in fact, very few of the characters had a recognizable arc. it's pretty unfortunate considering their large budget :/
