  everything was perfect—from start to finish. the plot buildup was perfect, the suspense and tension—absolute cinema! every shot felt meticulously planned and intentional. this film is truly one of a kind, and i love it!!!! the dialogues were my favorite; everything was crafted so well that it’s infuriating! though i did feel some disappointments—some points felt underdeveloped (like lawrence’s trouble with prayer), and at times, the film felt predictable. there was a pattern to it, an unease in how delicate…

  Why, God, why? Why do I only feel you when I’m alone? 

  this film made me cry!!!! how horrifying it really is to navigate your religion alone (and it’s the only way because only you can decide!). but despite that, i guess you could say that Margaret had that faith in her. though confused, she still talked to God :,) what a good watch! 

  p.s. hehe first film of the year (IT’S MARCH I KNOW) i’ve been so busy.. rip cinephile 🕯️🥀
