  I came into this with only a vague awareness of the stage musical and I was pleasantly surprised at how complex it was. The tone was so light and nonchalant but the themes were quite dark, much like being a woman. I found the characters so likable, even as they made horrible decisions.

  They don't make 'em like this anymore. I'm honestly exhausted after watching because the suspense was so physical and extended, but in a way that felt horrifyingly natural. I also have to applaud the practical effects and backdrops.
