  Couldn't tell based on the trailer if this would be silly or stupid, but fortunately it was silly! Been a minute since I was in a theater with consistent audible reactions ("haha", "ew", and "nooo" were mine) throughout the entire runtime. Vibes were similar to last year's The Fall Guy. Hope this does well at the box office, so we can get more original, entertaining stories in theaters. 🤞

  Juliette Lewis really left a cult wearing all purple to join a cult wearing all blue. 🤭 This movie would've killed like 10 years ago! Initially I thought "it's fine if there's nothing original because Ayo is still funny" (first 15 minutes were probably my favorite). But apparently there is a limit to how much cult horror content I can consume because eventually it all blurred together in real time. As soon as I started hearing the familiar, cliched cult speak (basically everything John Malkovich said or did), I simply zoned out. Also the ending made no sense and wasn't earned tbh.
