The Doom Generation 1995
sadly this wasn’t as much as an instant hit for me as nowhere but i still have high hopes for totally fucked up and it was really fun to get to watch another movie in this trilogy
while i wasn’t as hooked to the characters or story, i still love the way gregg araki does everything he does with his movies. the reoccurring gags and motifs were cool and funny, and as always the sets were bitchin, the soundtrack coordinator…

I haven’t liked a movie this much upon first watch in so long, rewatching it only intensified the obsession
The whole atmosphere and verbage of the movie is so good, you really just get dunked in this weird oversaturated hedonistic tubular awesome gnarly night, like it genuinely feels like bizaro sexed up Dazed and Confused but 10x better. And the soundtrack on top of every other aspect that it does so well????
No other movie has ever made me want to make movies so much, I don’t know if or when this will ever not be one of my favorites
