it’s awkward and beautiful. i love how patty is the anti manic pixie dream girl. she’s fuckin weird and not conventionally attractive and mysterious. i hate the “he’s mean to everyone but me” trope but i think it was done very well in this film. i’ve watched it twice in 24 hours and may go for a third.
