  Well, it took me a while to getting around to this movie, but I always had a feeling the dark avant-garde vibe would be up my alley, and it definitely was. Sexy, dark, biting, cringe, and surprising.

  Eyes Wide Shut was fascinating, to say the least. As a long movie that primarily takes place when the sun is down, I think it captures the essence of the rare moments in life where nothing feels real. Personally, there comes a point where these types of movies become too trippy and immersive for me, but it was a movie that definitely provokes a sense of confusion, curiosity, and sexuality. Some aspects of the plot are unnecessarily drawn out, but overall, a great movie. Be sure to check out behind the scenes facts on IMDB, it's pretty neat.
