i would like to start by saying i was originally influenced to watch this movie because of the lady gaga million reasons edit on tiktok.
ralph fiennes and stanley tucci were incredible throughout. carlos diehz’s performance was absolutely outstanding and truly moved me. i am so amazed that it was his first time professionally acting and he was robbed of an oscar’s nom bc he ate DOWN
this is not a type of movie i would typically gravitate towards or think id be interested in, but this was beautifully done and the plot + cinematography never lost me like i expected it would. amazing movie
