  Realism truly hit when they gathered 10 Scottish men in a gaff shouting “here we fucking go” while Oasis - Morning Glory plays in the background. 

  Really though, this film was so well done when exploring the complexity of morality. Full of nuances, I really liked the way the film slowly built the narrative around Clyde’s crime. At times I actually feared him as a sadistic character, especially in the school scene. This coupled with the motivations for Jackie (which might not appeal to all) perfectly bridged together criminality, justice, grief and the power dynamics of gender.
