the whole movie felt like a blockbuster trying very hard to be an arthouse film
also I constantly asked myself, who actually needs this movie and why it was even funded
I understand wanting to portray ambivalent characters and that perpetrators raise other perpetrators - but what does this movie want? why do we see all this from the point of view of the insanely overprivileged woman, who in the end feels like is the only victim?
thought the premise and beginning was very intriguing but from then on it just downspiraled in the worst way
not my favourite miyazaki movie - still cried a lot though
