I knew that if this movie was great it could potentially reignite the whole marvel universe. Unfortunately the funniest joke was in the first 5 minutes and then it was all downhill from there. RIP

This film has no reason to exist except to showcase the magnetism and talent of Reneé Rapp. I only laughed at two original jokes and the ‘rude-sephora-10-year-olds’ seated in front of me didn’t laugh at anything. The thriving centre of this film are the villainous choices they make for Regina’s scenes, which all the other characters find themselves desperately dancing around. There is lots to say about this film which ultimately fails to make itself, nor the word “fetch”, relevant 20 years later.
