  a great depiction of trauma, grief and reckoning with how your life diverges with your family’s. funny and emotional without being too dramatic. great performances from both protagonists. i fear i am a benji instead of a david.

  this was the first film i’ve ever cried at, and rewatching it, knowing it is about suicide and the director’s experience with suicide makes it even more meaningful to me. top 5 films i’ve ever watched. an extremely simple and beautiful film that works with a simple premise. watching will trying to figure out why the woman drove her car into concrete over and over is so haunting and i didn’t realize on first watch that he killed himself as…
