Ok I’m gonna start by saying holistically I didn’t hate the film mainly because of the sense of calm it achieved. But I really did not appreciate the country’s entire portrayal being dominated by the white gaze, I had to sit through some very iffy jokes and no counter narratives which asked me to be critical of their one dimensional perspective. Not to forget there was one massive plot hole - a girl that looks like scar jo would never look at bill Murray and his receding hairline like that
