cute! i had already been spoiled for the plot going in, but i think i maybe i would have appreciated it more if i went in blind. certainly the scene in the house with the goons seemed a bit repetitive. also could have done without having to watch ivy wolk, but a fun time nonetheless!

as someone who a) dreamed of going to boarding school as a child, b) used to fantasize about some storm or something happening while at school so we’d have to sleep there overnight, and c) loves being in places when they’re technically supposed to be closed, this movie is a great fit for me. the first act runs a little long but otherwise, delightful!
