Mixed Nuts 1994
It seems like they’re painting the idea that the transgender woman character in this movie has a limited understanding of personal boundaries/is predatorial, that did not age well. Neither did Steve Carrell calling her “the man.” However, she does seem to get a love story in the end even if it is with the character who reads unintelligent/naive, so it is up to personal interpretation.
