Despite the actions and things said outside of the film itself I believe that this film is extremely well made and the script is well thought out. As a movie, this was not too horribly done as many alien sci-fi films have been in the last few years. What this move did correctly was to show the importance of having "real" characters that make realistic decisions. The relationships between characters did seem forced a few times. The guns literally never ran out of ammo which was funny rather than annoying due to it being such a consistent trope. Also, the big scary monster is very cool.

Honestly, a slice-of-life movie that gives the amazingly Pixar studios a chance to remind its viewers that not every good movie requires the greatest plot to succeed.
