Incredible vibes movie. Such a pleasure to hang out in this neighborhood on this hot summer day.
And then there’s the heart of it—race. Few movies explore the subject with this much compassion, humor, and sobriety. It’s fantastic.

5 out of 5 chicken parmesana heroes with extra cheese and extra sa-saaauuce.

This is one of the weirdest movies I’ve ever seen. And yet it all makes perfect sense.
Yeah it’s a zombie movie but it doesn’t take itself seriously and there’s nothing else like it anywhere. It adds to the genre but it’s still its own thing. And it’s HILARIOUS. I’ll watch this again anytime.

4.5 out of 5 Sturgill Simpson “The Dead Don’t Die” CDs.

Maybe my 4th or 5th time watching this. Exemplifies the spirit of the novels and the character of Reacher almost perfectly. What it says about American culture is maybe even more relevant today than when it was released 12 years ago.

As far as thrillers go, it doesn’t get much better than this. Clean, mean, smart, efficient, and just plain cool

Plus it has one of the best car chases ever put on film.

5 out of 5 pristine bullets.

I’ve watched this twice now, and it was even better the second time. What better way to tell a story about female body image (particularly as it relates to the Hollywood machine) than with a surreal body horror extravaganza?

Once things pop off, they escalate very steadily and it is an insane, uncomfortably fun ride. This movie takes a cool concept and doesn’t waste it — on the contrary, it goes all the way with it. It’s shocking, hilarious, heartbreaking…
