idk if I‘m influenced by how relatable it was, but I found it very moving. it was so real. the perspective, the details in every glance and the emotions it evoked in the characters touched me directly and gave the entire film something magical and intimate. the time shifts were also really interesting. they gave a new perspective on the whole plot. you could see summers’ red flags way earlier than tom did. but at the same time I never lost empathy for tom who was blinded by love.
