A gorgeous film that is at times heavy handed with its symbolism, but then again it can’t really afford to be subtle, because this movie will make you cry and you will be watching through tears.
An overly long film that spends its entire runtime watching an artist who doesn’t seem to enjoy her art. My estimation of this film might improve over time but in the immediate aftermath, it’s a film I found no joy in.
