Real Women Have Curves 2002
a beautiful film that hits close to home in a number of ways. its wonderful to see a movie for, by, and about latina women. the portrayal of all characters is very authentic and nothing seems exaggerated. a love letter to all latina women, especially overweight latina women, struggling to accept themselves and their wishes despite the many societal obstacles fighting against them.
