    The Return of Godzilla

    ★★★½

The first of the Heisei era starts off with a bang as an homage to the earliest Godzilla films. Everyone’s favorite lizard is portrayed as the enemy, a force of nature, rather than an antihero as most of the late Shōwa era films did. “We're all different. Especially him. But there's something kind of fantastic about that, isn't there?” -Mrs. Felicity Fox

Fantastic Mr. Fox exemplifies the idea of using animals to express, explore, and rejuvenate humanity and existence itself. The film is profoundly thought provoking, incredibly hilarious, and beautifully animated from the first to last frame. With Anderson’s striking visual design, an exceptionally talented cast and staff, and one of the most perfectly crafted soundtracks, the film never stops engaging its audience. Fantastic Mr. Fox is a testament not only to cinema, but also to the innate—and some might say “instinctual”—desire to self-actualize.

Pocahontas in the adventures of even more historically inaccurate moments.

P.S. Meeko and the other animal buddies are best part of the movie

If I were to say this was a good movie, I would need to be crossing my fingers as Ariel randomly did in the film.
